Literally yesterday I was talking to a Silicone Fen Technological Wizard who was enthusing about how well he was doing… but admitted that he wasn’t going to grow the business because (his words) “that whole hiring business feels too hard….”. There you go – sometimes even just *thinking* about work relationships can hold you back.
